About me
Jasvir Masih is a Network Engineer on the SKA Observatory project, building the world’s largest radio telescope across Western Australia and South Africa. The system comprises over 130,000 low-frequency antennas and nearly 200 mid-frequency dishes, creating a combined collecting area of more than one square kilometer. The vast, globally-managed infrastructure includes outside fiber, power, buildings, data centers, cabinets, and all connections—fiber, data, power, synchronization, and timing. netTerrain allows Jasvir and his team to locate equipment instantly from anywhere, making fault finding and maintenance efficient without sifting through scattered documentation.
