The netTerrain REST API Training class is an instructor-led, hands-on course designed for developers, system administrators, integration specialists, solution architects, and technical power users who want to automate, extend, and integrate netTerrain with other enterprise systems. Participants will learn how to use the netTerrain REST API to retrieve, create, update, and synchronize information programmatically while following industry-standard REST principles and netTerrain best practices.

Through guided demonstrations and practical lab exercises, students will gain experience working with authentication methods, API endpoints, request and response structures, object relationships, hierarchy navigation, bulk operations, and integration workflows. The course emphasizes real-world use cases such as CMDB integration, inventory synchronization, workflow automation, reporting, and data exchange between netTerrain and external platforms.

Students will use tools such as Swagger UI, Postman, PowerShell, Python, or their preferred API client to explore and test API functionality. By the end of the class, attendees will understand how to design, test, troubleshoot, and maintain API-driven solutions that support network documentation, DCIM, fiber management, asset management, and operational workflows within netTerrain environments
